Greetings, greetings, greetings. Here at small performance adventures, we were very excited about starting our brand new project “Terminal Uniqueness”, a project that is a challenge to individualism and aims to improve our mental health collectively in groups. Terminal Uniqueness is a term that we have borrowed from USA rehab contexts and we think it applies and can be helpful to all of, the definition can be found here.
We were going to work with ten artists in addiction recovery and create workshops that looked at defining terminal uniqueness and encouraged people to be creative collectively. Our plans included running this workshop with a range of groups including trans people, social entrepreneurs, survivors, builders, asylum seekers and many more…. Hopefully we will still do that.
However for now we have partnered with We are not Saints , Edit Sweet and TiPP to bring you an online starting point for our project and bring people together and share commonalities through creative tasks. Its a facebook group called Terminal Uniqueness – fun things to do at home and share
Please join us if you fancy finding items of a certain colour in your home, we have done blue and yellow so far and posting a video or photos of them to the group. So far we have had contributions from USA, South Africa, Germany, Puerto Rico, Germany and many more. Its fun and light and keeps us busy.
